Brody's Gymnastics Show!

Last week was Brody's last week of gym class at The Little Gym. He has really loved his class, and we are really sad that it's over for the summer. They had a show on their last class, and all the parents/grandparents/siblings got to sit inside the gym and watch them "perform." It was so cute! I'm not kidding myself, Brody will not be a gymnast! But, he has really enjoyed the tumbling, it's great exercise, and another opportunity for Brody to learn cooperation and following directions. Here is his grand entrance, followed by some pictures of his show! Of course....his favorite part of the whole show was getting a medal!

Summer is Here!

It is hot in Ky! The temps have been steady in the mid 80's, so it was time to run to Walmart and buy a couple of kiddie pools. I bought one for Brody and one for Raegan, so they both would enjoy playing outside in the water. Boy, was it a good purchase! They have been in the pools several times over the last few days. It's a great activity when I'm needing something for them to do and keep them happy for awhile before naps or dinner. Here are some pictures of their fun in the sun!

Landscaping

Ryan has been landscaping the past month. He has really worked hard and has done a great job. In the back, he had to dig out all of the grass, which in itself, was a huge job. If this whole "doctor" thing doesn't work out, I think he could have a future in landscaping! Thanks for all of your hard work Ryan! It looks great. We love you! We also got our deck stained and new patio furniture. The West's are officially ready for the summer season!

Brody's School Festival

Today was Brody's school festival. He had a great time. He got to play lots of games and won prizes and had way too much junk food. Can't believe his 3-year old preschool days are just about over. Next year, Brody will go to 4-year old preschool here in Paris. It's maybe a mile from our home, so I'm looking forward to the short trip to school! Here are some pictures of Brody today, sporting his new summer haircut! He also is starting to like to wear hats, he looks like such a big boy in a hat!

P.S. Brody has to wear an adult sized hat. If you're not familiar with him, let me tell you....he has a BIG head! :)
