Raegan is 9 Months Old!

Raegan is 9 months old! Can you believe it? I feel like she was just born. It's sad how fast little ones grow up. She is now crawling all over the place! I had to make a run to Babies R'US yesterday to get a gate, plug covers, and a fireplace protector. She's on the move!

Raegan's stats:

20 pounds 65th percentile
28.5 inches 75th percentile

Spring Tulips!

We went to the Lexington Cemetery today to take some pictures with the lovely tulips. It is so pretty there in the Spring, and I think I got some great pictures of the kids. Enjoy!!

Keeneland

Ryan and I took Brody to Keeneland yesterday. He needed some one-on-one attention, so we decided a trip to see the ponies would be fun! He loved it! He's been to Keeneland several times, but this time, he really got into it. He liked to pick the number of the horse he wanted to win, and he also enjoyed the different colors the jockeys wore on their silks. Brody's Grandpa West was there, so we got to sit in his box (which was great, don't think Brody would've lasted as long as he did if we had to stand the whole time). There was lots of food: popcorn, soda, ice cream, soft pretzel. Grandpa took him to the paddock to see the horses up close, and he really enjoyed himself. He was a really good boy and Ryan and I were enjoying our alone time with him. Here are some pictures of our fun day. I am also posting a picture of our new van, as promised on an earlier post!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. Brody woke up and was so excited to search for candy-filled eggs. He was also very impressed with his basket that the Easter Bunny left for him. His favorite: Alvin and The Chipmunks movie! Raegan watched as her brother hunted eggs. Next year, she will be right alongside of him, having fun!

My parents came over to eat dinner. First, we put together our new patio set we just bought. Yea! We can now sit outside and eat on our deck as Brody plays and has fun this spring/summer. Dinner was a Honey Baked Ham, rolls, pasta salad, deviled eggs, and a yummy dessert. Brody enjoyed playing with Grandma and Pappy, as he hadn't seen them in a week or so.

After my parents left, we headed over to my in-laws house for an hour or so. Brody loves to go see his cousins and play outside. The weather was so beautiful yesterday, he spent most of his time outdoors. Overall, a wonderful Easter. Hope you and your family had a great day as well!
